Genital Warts
Warts that occur in the vaginal area in women are called condyloma acumunata. The causes of genital warts are viruses called HPV. There are more than 60 types of HPV. Transmission of HPV 6 and 11 types causes warts. Warts are lesions that do not carry cancer risk, but HPV 16 and 18 are types with high cancer risk, there are also HPV types with low cancer risk.
